Hôtel Winter Palace
Albert Tournaire's 220-room winter palace of 1901, now apartments
Albert Tournaire built the Winter Palace in 1901, with 220 rooms, on the grounds of the Riviera Palace. Its guests fell away after the Second World War and it became apartments in 1958; only the hall keeps its period features, and two glazed yellow-tiled turrets rise above the terraces. Its façades and roofs were listed in 1975.
Hôtel Winter Palace is a manor on Chemin du Rosaire in Menton. The station Menton is 350 m away (about 5 min on foot).
