Monte Carlo Beach Hotel
Roger Seassal's 1929 beach hotel, on French soil 500 metres from Monaco
Despite its name, the Monte-Carlo Beach stands in France, 500 metres from the Monaco border, above the sea. The architect Roger Seassal built it in 1929, and India Mahdavi redesigned it in 2009, the year it joined Relais & Châteaux. It is run by the Société des Bains de Mer of Monaco and has 40 rooms, 14 of them suites; its restaurants include Elsa and La Vigie.
Monte Carlo Beach Hotel is a hotel on Route de la Vigie in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The station Monte-Carlo Country Club is 500 m away (about 8 min on foot).
