The Musée de l'Annonciade holds paintings from 1890 to 1950, when Saint-Tropez was one of the centres of avant-garde painting around Paul Signac, who discovered the fishing village in 1892 and invited his friends – Matisse, Bonnard and Braque among the painters who came.

It is housed in the chapel of Notre-Dame de l'Annonciade, built around 1510 by the White Penitents. In 1950 the architect Louis Süe adapted it for the collection of the industrialist Georges Grammont, and the museum opened on 7 August 1955.

Musée de l'Annonciade is a museum on Rue de l’Annonciade in Saint-Tropez. The ferry landing Saint-Tropez is 250 m away (about 4 min on foot).
