The building
In 1925 F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald rented the Villa Saint-Louis on the water at Juan-les-Pins, and Fitzgerald worked here on Tender Is the Night. In 1929 the villa became the Hôtel Belles Rives, described as the first «feet in the water» hotel on the Riviera; two floors and a wing were added in 1930 and 1931. The Art Deco furniture is back in the bar, the restaurant and on the terrace.
Good to know. Boulevard Édouard-Baudoin, between Juan-les-Pins and the Cap.
