The building
Raymond Peynet drew his famous «Amoureux» in 1943 and settled in Antibes in 1976; the museum on the Place Nationale opened in 1989 with nearly 300 works he gave the town. Since 1995 it has also shown the press cartoonists who followed him, and in 1999 it took its present name. Two bronze lovers keep watch at the door, facing the bandstand.
Good to know. On the Place Nationale, two minutes from the port. Small and step-free – easy with children.
