Beaulieu-sur-Mer

The sheltered Belle Époque resort at the foot of the cliffs, home of the Villa Kérylos

Beaulieu lies east of Cap Ferrat, between Villefranche, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Èze, and was part of the commune of Villefranche until 1891. Its emblem is the Villa Kérylos, the house that the archaeologist Théodore Reinach and the architect Emmanuel Pontremoli built between 1902 and 1908 on a rocky point over the Baie des Fourmis, on the model of a Greek villa of Delos.
