Phoenix Park
A seven-hectare botanical and zoological park by the Promenade, opened in 1990

Parc Phœnix is a botanical and zoological park at the south-western entrance to Nice, in the Arénas quartier along the Promenade des Anglais, laid out over seven hectares around a central lake. It opened on 14 February 1990 and is named after Phoenix canariensis, the most common palm on the Côte d'Azur; it carries the Jardin remarquable label.
Next to it stands the Musée des Arts asiatiques, opened in 1998 in a building by the Japanese architect Kenzo Tange.
