Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild's palace and gardens, 1905–1912

Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild built the Villa Île-de-France on a crest of the Cap Ferrat isthmus between 1905 and 1912, a Riviera palace in the manner of the Renaissance, to house a collector's life with a particular love of the eighteenth century.
At her death in 1934 she left the villa to a foundation in her name, so that it would become a museum; it opened on 2 April 1938. The Académie des beaux-arts has run it since 2023.
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is a museum on Avenue Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The station Beaulieu Sur Mer is 1150 m away (about 18 min on foot).
