A new parish church was built in 1762 and enlarged in the following century, a sign of the village's revival. It keeps relics of Maxime of Callian, the town's patron saint, an eighteenth-century marble altar and a bell of 1733, and faces the Tour Carrée.

Église de Sainte-Maxime is a place of worship on Rue Jean Aicard in Sainte-Maxime. The ferry landing Sainte-Maxime is 200 m away (about 3 min on foot).
